What the key specifications mean

• Processor: Intel Core 5 120U handles everyday multitasking, browsing, and office work with turbo speeds up to 5.0 GHz when needed.
• Memory: 8GB DDR5 onboard RAM is soldered; an extra SO-DIMM slot allows expansion up to 24GB total if more memory is needed later.
• Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD provides fast boot and app load times along with ample space for files and software.
• Display: 14-inch FHD IPS-level anti-glare panel offers clear visuals with wide viewing angles, suited for indoor and office lighting.
• Graphics: Intel integrated graphics handle everyday visual tasks like video playback, office apps, and light photo editing.
• Battery: 42WHrs battery supports portable use away from a power outlet for typical work sessions.
• Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 ensure fast wireless networking and stable peripheral connections.
• Security: Fingerprint login and TPM support help protect user data and enable secure sign-in.

Practical benefits

• Fast storage access and smooth multitasking for daily computing
• Portable 1.40kg build suited for carrying between home, office, or college
• Fingerprint login adds convenience and security without extra accessories
• Pre-bundled Office and Microsoft 365 reduces need for separate software purchase

Who it suits

• Students needing a portable laptop for coursework and browsing
• Office professionals working with documents, spreadsheets, and video calls
• Users who need light multitasking without dedicated graphics-intensive tasks

Compatibility and installation

• Windows 11 Home pre-installed (ASUS recommends Windows 11 Pro for business use)
• Additional RAM expansion requires a compatible DDR5 SO-DIMM module
• Powered via a 45W AC adapter (19V DC, 2.37A) with universal 100-240V input
• 1x HDMI 1.4 port for external display connection
• USB Type-A and Type-C ports available for peripherals and data transfer
• 3.5mm combo audio jack for headsets or external audio devices
• Compact footprint: 32.49 cms (L) x 21.39 cms (D) x 1.79 cms (H)

Important limitations

• 8GB RAM is onboard; only one additional SO-DIMM slot available for expansion
• Integrated Intel Graphics only, not suited for demanding gaming or GPU-intensive work
• Display brightness is 250 nits, which may be limited in strong outdoor lighting
• Only 1x HDMI 1.4 port, no higher-bandwidth video output mentioned
• USB 2.0 port has limited data transfer speed (480Mbps) compared to USB 3.2 ports

Package contents

• Windows 11 Home operating system
• Microsoft 365 Basic with 100GB cloud storage for 1 year
• Office Home 2024 with lifetime validity
• 1-Month Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps membership (redeemable within stated period)
• MyASUS, ScreenXpert, and GlideX software

Buy separately:

• External mouse if preferred over touchpad
• Additional DDR5 SO-DIMM RAM module for memory upgrade
• External monitor or HDMI cable if multi-display setup is needed

Check before you buy

• Confirm RAM expansion needs before purchase, as 8GB is onboard and not upgradable beyond adding one SO-DIMM module
• Verify the Adobe Creative Cloud redemption window is still valid at time of purchase
• Confirm display brightness (250 nits) suits intended usage environment
