Is the RTX 3060 still worth buying in 2026?
The RTX 3060's biggest strength is its 12 GB of video memory, which is generous for 1080p gaming, video editing timelines and entry-level AI experiments. It supports ray tracing and DLSS upscaling, and it runs today's esports and most AAA games well at 1080p with sensible settings.
It is an older-generation card, though. Newer cards such as the RTX 5050 and RTX 5060 are faster in most games and add DLSS frame generation, which the RTX 3060 does not support. Our advice: pick the RTX 3060 if you want 12 GB of VRAM for creative work or it fits your budget better; if you mainly play the newest games, compare it with an RTX 5060 first. Ask us on WhatsApp and we will compare today's prices for you.
